Tara Lee Photography was born from a passion for photography that dates as far back as those childhood days when my mom would get my attention by yelling “Tara Lee!” You must know what I mean! First AND middle name always meant business!
When I was young, I always asked for the disposable cameras that would be staring me in the face at every checkout line. I’d use those cameras up within a day and beg my mom to have the film developed. I kept boxes upon boxes of developed photos throughout the years. This collection was my pride and joy! Eventually, I started asking for a new camera for Christmas every year. Santa was oh so good to me.
Let’s talk today. Many years have passed and my love for photography has continued to grow. I married the love of my life in 2011 and we welcomed our first and only child to our family in 2012. My devotion grew to a whole new level when our little Owen arrived and we were gifted my first DSLR. I quickly became obsessed with finding different ways to capture his beautiful smile. I practiced with my little guy for the first six solid months of his life, took a class, enrolled in an online program, and then Tara Lee Photography was born.
My husband, 7 year old son, 1 year old Golden Doodle, and I call Neenah, WI our home. We’ve lived here for 7 years, and couldn’t have chose a better community to make our own. My husband is an airline pilot, and travel is a HUGE part of our lives.
I recently transitioned from a Quality Assurance Coordinator to running my photography business full-time. I have a beautiful loft studio in downtown Neenah, and I cannot wait to welcome all of you into the Tara Lee Photography fam!
